CoreLogic acquired Next Gear Solutions, where Gray was the founder and CEO, in the fall of 2021. This move brings all of CoreLogic’s global insurance data and technology solutions under the leadership of Gray and his team.
“By leveraging granular data for the increasing frequency and severity of catastrophes, we are able to see that more than 14.5 million homes were impacted to some degree by natural hazards in 2021. That’s about 1 in every 10 homes in the United States,” said Tom Larsen, CoreLogic’s principal, Industry Solutions.
CoreLogic has announced the immediate availability of its claim management services, including its Claims Connect platform, to all customers of Openly, a homeowners’ insurance provider. The aim is to help policyholders manage the challenges of property restoration more quickly, efficiently and accurately.
PuroClean will upgrade to the full Next Gear Solutions enterprise-level software suite for contractors – DASH, QA Assist, LuxorCRM, ProAssist and Dispatch — at over 350 of its franchise locations. The rollout is set to begin in January 2022.
Pat Dodd has been appointed to the position of interim president and CEO, replacing Frank Martell, who will assume the position of non-executive chairman of the CoreLogic board.

The 2021 Wildfire Report by CoreLogic examines property-related wildfire risk alongside reconstruction resource availability, temporary housing capacity for displaced individuals, and community economic recovery potential among fire-prone regions.
"While the implications of this acquisition on restoration contractors is not yet fully known, RIA members and constituents have concerns about how their data is being used and how it will impact the future of their business," the statement reads.
