Nick Paolella, co-founder of Jon-Don, passed away February 17, 2022. A legend and giant within the restoration industry, he will be sorely missed.
Jon-Don has announced a celebration of life event, which will be held for Paolella Saturday, March 26 from 1:30 to 4:30 p.m. in West Dundee, Ill. They welcome all and encourage attendees to bring their favorite stories, jokes and memories as they toast to a wonderful soul.

In lieu of flowers, Paolella's family asks that donations be made in his honor to Archdiocese of Chicago Domestic Violence Outreach or Loras College Care of Advancement.
In a LinkedIn post following Paolella's death, Jon-Don posted the following note:
"It's with the heaviest of hearts and deepest sadness that we share that Nick Paolella, co-founder of Jon-Don, passed away yesterday while surrounded by family and loved ones.
"Words cannot express how much our dear "Papa Nick" will be missed. His wisdom and dedication to service will continue to inspire generations of professionals. Whether you knew him well or only for a short while, one thing was clear: Nick loved his Jon-Don family. And he knew that we loved him too.
The Paolella family would like to share their thanks for the outpouring of love and support from Nick's many, many friends in the industry. Thank you for all the photos and stories and memories."
