(Wood Dale, IL, November 17, 2010) – Disaster Kleenup International, Inc., today announced that DKI has been selected as a 2010 drop off location for the U.S. Marine Corps Reserve Toys for Tots Program.

The mission of the U.S. Marine Corps Reserve Toys for Tots Program is to collect new, unwrapped toys during October, November and December each year, and distribute those toys as Christmas gifts to needy children in the community in which the campaign is conducted. The primary goal of Toys for Tots is to deliver, through a new toy at Christmas, a message of hope to less fortunate youngsters that will assist them in becoming responsible, productive, patriotic citizens.

“DKI is proud to support such a worthy cause. When the economy is in such a fragile state, it is very important for us each to do our part and give back to our communities,” said Dale Sailer, president of DKI.

DKI is supporting the efforts of the Toys for Tots Program by acting as a toy drop off location for the program. DKI’s staff decorated a large box that currently sits in the lobby of its National headquarters to accept toy donations.

In addition to DKI corporately supporting Toys For Tots, many DKI Members throughout the country have also volunteered to act as drop-off locations for the program.

“The DKI organization is made up of top-notch restoration companies who are proud to give back to the communities that support them. We are very pleased to see DKI Members helping to support such a worthy cause,” Sailer stated.

For those who are interested in participating, donations will be accepted at DKI up until December 16, 2010 when DKI will gather up all the donations and bring them to the DuPage County Toys For Tots warehouse for distribution. All donations must be new, unwrapped toys; toy weapons or stuffed animals can’t be accepted.
