Jessika James has been in the inspection, cleaning, infection control, and restoration industry for over 35 years, opening her first disaster restoration business in the San Francisco Bay Area in 1982, and she is presently the President and Lead Instructor of RestorationCertified.com, an online school dedicated to providing the inspection, infection control, cleaning, restoration, and mitigation industries with innovative and engaging online classes taught by exceptionally experienced instructors.
Her past work experience includes managing the education programs for national and global industry leaders such as Prochem, Kaiser Permanente, Marriott, and was the Senior Training Specialist for Kärcher, North America focusing on building cleaning and maintenance, indoor air quality assessments, infection prevention/control and microbial decontamination.
Among Jessika’s many industry accomplishments, she has earned the status of IICRC Approved Instructor, IICRC Master Textile Cleaner, Master Water Restorer and Master Fire & Smoke Restorer, ACAC Certified Indoor Environmentalist, Mold Remediator and Certified Mold Professional. In 2016, 2017, and 2018, she was honored to be voted by Restoration and Remediation Magazine’s Recognizing Women in Restoration—The Best of the Best, as well as voted IICRC Favorite Instructor.
Jessika is very active in the industry and has served on the Board of Directors of the IICRC, presently serve as the IICRC Cleaning Division Chair providing leadership for multiple committees, and volunteers her time speaking at industry events such as The Experience, ISSA, CFI, and NACA.
