The IICRC recently hosted its biannual instructor symposium in Vancouver, Wash. A record 111 IICRC-approved instructors attended the two-day "train the trainer" event. The IICRC Standards Committee continues to be busy. The special workshops on the latest edition of the ANSI/IICRC S520 Mold Remediation Standard are nearly complete. Progress continues to be made on the latest revision of the S100 Carpet Cleaning Standard.
In order to help familiarize the cleaning and restoration industry with the new ANSI/IICRC S520 Standard & Reference Guide for Professional Mold Remediation, Second Edition, the IICRC is coordinating a series of educational workshops around North America.
