To clean or not to clean: that is the question. Every cleaning job is unique and must be approached as such.

In advance of Monday’s Earth Day celebrations, Interstate Restoration helped hundreds of volunteers plant small evergreen trees in the fire-ravaged Sunshine Canyon outside of Boulder, Colo.

One of my favorite parts about working in the restoration industry is that every day our brand has the opportunity to change people’s lives. It’s always top of mind for me to remember that we are called on by our customers during some of the most difficult periods they will experience.

BURLINGTON, Wash. (Apr. 10, 2019) – Legend Brands Education (LBE) has announced a special two-week career training program for U.S. veterans, offering a 50% discount on a veterans-only Restoration Bootcamp at the LBE Nashville campus. Veterans can also attend a job fair with local business owners and other key players in the water and fire damage restoration industry.

It goes without question the use of drones – both in business and for recreation – has truly taken off over the last few years. Now equipped with technology like cameras, thermal imaging capabilities, and even computers, drones are being used in industries across the board.

The IICRC would like to welcome Brandon Burton as its new Standards Chairman. Effective Jan. 1, 2019, Burton took over for longstanding Standards Chairman Howard Wolf.

In the disaster recovery and restoration world, the media used for blasting is determinative to project outcome. Many historic buildings have delicate surfaces that often require a softer media. In the cases of disaster recovery, how to remove soot, coal, char and other unwanted items without damaging the structure has always been the center of discussions.
