CORE Group, a fast-growing contractor network in North America, has announced eight new independent restorers as the newly launched membership tier of the CORE family of companies.
The bioremediation training program will take place Feb. 21-25 at the Dewald Academy of Drying in Indianapolis. Participants will leave with certifications including IICRC Crime and Trauma Scene Cleaning Technician, Blood Borne Pathogens Compliant Certificate, and the Certified Forensic Operator designation.
Highlights of this year’s Neighborly rankings include six total brands ranked number one in their respective categories and three brands making first-time appearances within the top 200. Rainbow International ranked 139.
The not seasonally adjusted national construction unemployment rate plunged 4.6% in December 2021 from a year ago, down from 9.6% to 5%, while all 50 states had lower unemployment rates over the same period, according to a state-by-state analysis of U.S. Bureau of Labor Statistics data released by Associated Builders and Contractors.

ServiceMaster Restoration By Simons, a Chicago-based disaster restoration services business, was among 100 U.S. businesses recently recognized in the 2021 Best of Small Business Awards. The company ranked number 19 on the list.
National nonresidential construction spending fell 0.7% in December 2021, according to Associated Builders and Contractors analysis. On a seasonally adjusted annualized basis, nonresidential spending totaled $820.7 billion for the month.
