The Restoration Industry Association (RIA) is stronger than it has been in decades and now, it is leading the charge to transform the industry as its Chief Advocate on the front lines.
The Australasian Council of RIA was established to provide the Australia/New Zealand restoration industry with a vehicle by which issues facing its membership could be brought to the attention of RIA and Industry leaders. The Australasian Council serves to support RIA’s membership and promote RIA’s interests in Australia/New Zealand.
An infusion of fresh thinking and younger leadership at the Restoration Industry Association (RIA) has led to the conclusion that to give members a good return on their investment of dues, the RIA must advocate for the legal and financial interests of restorers.
Since its inception in 2016, nearly 200 women have been nominated for R&R’s Women in Restoration award. Each year the field seems to become broader and more competitive, with nominations becoming more in-depth and elaborate! This year’s nominees included owners, VPs, project managers, technicians, operations managers, marketing and sales, and more.
This issue marks the fourth anniversary of R&R’s Women in Restoration award, again supported so strongly by Violand Management Associates. Each year we award one deserving restoration diva the top honor out of dozens of nominees. In 2019, nearly 40 women were nominated for the award—and each have at least 10 years of experience in the industry.
Register today for the 2019 Australasian Conference and Tradeshow, taking place at the Novotel Hotel & Resort Twin Waters in Sunshine Coast, Queensland.
RIA sits at the intersection of a long-standing tradition of best practice, the best industry education for existing members, and preparing our newest and youngest members for a life of success.
