We brought you the neat – yet unusual – story on Jason Brown earlier this month. As you may recall, the Rainbow International Fairfield, N.J. president pumped some 1,500 gallons of water into his own basement so he could dry it, demonstrate he and his team’s expertise and – ideally – drum up some new business with the attention it generated in the process.
That’s the amount of water that Jason Brown, the president of Rainbow International’s Fairfield, N.J. location, estimates he pumped into his home’s basement on Sunday, Oct. 7. A basement that he says he paid $30,000 to refinish not many years prior.
On October 7, 2012 at 10 a.m., the Rainbow Disaster Team of the Tri-State Area will literally open the flood gates and unleash several hundred gallons of water in a relatively quiet suburban neighborhood. According to a press release, Jason Brown, President of Rainbow International of Fairfield, drew the shortest straw and it was that which determined his home would be the one flooded for a demonstration video the team is filming this month.
Kelly Olson, owner of Rainbow International of Kansas City, is the recipient of this year’s Franchisee of the Year Award, according to a press release. The award was presented at The Dwyer Group® Annual Reunion in Dallas, Texas.
If you’re not one of the 10.23 million people who watched Dina Dwyer-Owens, CEO of Rainbow International, on CBS’ “Undercover Boss”, you get a second chance. According to a press release, CBS will rerun the episode at 8 p.m. ET/7 p.m. CT on Friday, Aug. 10.
