About 100 people in the cleaning and restoration industry came together in Las Vegas on Monday, January 27 to see the grand opening of the IICRC’s Global Resource Center, a 20,000 square foot piece of property located about 3.5 miles from the center of the Las Vegas strip.

The IICRC S500 Standard and Reference Guide for Professional Water Damage Restoration was made available for public review earlier in 2013, and we received a lot of comments that have helped us to create a revised document with multiple changes and clarifications throughout. 

As 2013 draws to a close, the IICRC is celebrating several milestones achieved throughout the year. 

The Healthy House Institute and the IICRC recommend that post remediation verification, or PRV, be completed following a mold remediation job to ensure that all work was done correctly.

The Institute of Inspection, Cleaning and Restoration Certification (IICRC) has announced that the revised draft of S500 is now available  for a second round of public review and comment, according to a press release.

The International Inspection, Cleaning and Restoration Council of Association (IICRCA) today announced it will reopen nominations for its 2013-2014 IICRCA Board of Directors, according to a press release. 

During the IICRC’s October shareholder meeting in Vancouver, WA, three new members were elected to join the 12 incumbent members to comprise the 2013-2014 Board of Directors.

Violand Management Associates (VMA) announced that the IICRC has approved 2 Continuing Education Credits in the cleaning/restoration, or inspection, or master categories for its Sales Force Development program, according to a press release.

The IICRC today has announced the election of three new members joining the 12 incumbent members to comprise the 2013-2014 Board of Directors, according to a press release. Elections were held during the IICRC’s October shareholder meeting in Vancouver, WA.
