The IICRC announced it is revising the ANSI/IICRC S500-2006 Standard and Reference Guide for Professional Water Damage Restoration aand substantive changes since the last public review are now available for an additional public review and comment through Aug. 31, 2014. 

The IICRC has opened nominations for the 2014-15 Board of Directors, according to a press release. 

“BSR-IICRC S500 Standard and Reference Guide for Professional Water Damage Restoration” is available.

In its ongoing effort to establish and advance globally recognized standards and certifications for the inspection, cleaning, restoration and installation industries, the IICRC has announced the restructure of its global regions, according to a press release.

In mid-April, the IICRC held its Spring Certification Council and Board of Directors meetings in Nashville.

The second issue of the IICRC’s technical journal, The Journal of Cleaning, Restoration & Inspection (The Journal), will soon hit your mailbox, so keep an eye open for it!

The Restoration Technical Institute (RTI) has been approved as an IICRC-Certified school by the IICRC Certification Council, according to an announcement from Stephan Schumm, Director of Education.

Later this month, the IICRC will hold its spring Certification Council and Board of Directors (BOD) meetings on April 13-15 in Nashville.

In early February, the IICRC announced the publication of the new ANSI/IICRC S800 Standard and Reference Guide for Professional Inspection of Textile Floorcoverings.

The IICRC’s Winter Board of Directors (BOD) meeting came to a close on Monday, January 27 with the grand opening celebration of its new Global Resource Center and election of Peter Crosa to fill an empty seat on the IICRC Board of Directors, according to a press release.
