GZA has named attorney Jonathan Selden as in-house counsel for its corporate risk management department. The Massachusetts-based firm provides a range of services to customers in New England, including environmental site investigation and remediation services.
Selden is a member of the bar in Massachusetts, New York, and New Jersey. He most recently served as corporate counsel for US Ecology Inc. and has also served in senior legal positions at National Response Corp., ENPRO Holdings Group Inc. and TMC Environmental.
“Jon’s broad expertise in legal matters including contracts, risk management, data security, and acquisition due diligence and integration, combined with his experience working with leading environmental companies, make him an ideal addition to our risk management department,” said GZA CEO Patrick Sheehan. “Along with all his GZA colleagues, I’m excited to welcome Jon to GZA and look forward to the guidance and insight he will help us provide clients to solve complex challenges in natural and built environments.’’
Selden earned his law degree from Boston College Law School, where he edited the Intellectual Property and Technology Forum & Journal. He earned his bachelor’s degree in economics from Boston College as well.
