Five Star Franchising, a service-based franchise platform company backed by Princeton Equity Group, has announced the addition of both 1-800-Packouts and 1-800-Textiles to its brand. The franchise said the opportunities this will bring to the restoration industry are unmatched. Much like 1-800-Packouts, an award-winning company, Princeton Equity Group and Five Star Franchising have partnered with Kevin Loner to build up 1-800-Textiles and Five Star will be there for any needed back-office support or front office initiatives.
1-800-Packouts came from humble beginnings in a northern suburb of Atlanta. As the brand grew from coast to coast, co-founders Kevin Loner and Bart Parker knew they had a solid franchise model. 1-800-Packouts was ranked #275 on the Entrepreneur Top 500 list for 2021 and was also featured on the Top 150 Strongest Growing Franchises list in 2020. Backed by a combined 60-plus years in the restoration industry and an experienced and eager group of franchisees, the business has continued to grow year after year.
Parker said the inspiration for the company came from “want[ing] to create a unified front in the Contents Industry." Loner added to that, saying, “The name came to us one night and by the next day we were building a model for national expansion. From there, the rest is history.”
1-800-Packouts has found success thanks to these dedicated businessmen, and as Scott Abbott, CEO of Five Star, put it, “we are honored to have such a thriving brand with such committed franchisee ownership.”
After years in the contents industry, Parker and Loner realized there was a need for a new textile restoration company. Thus, 1-800-Textiles was born. The business is taking an eco-friendly approach to textile restoration and changing the way textiles are cleaned and cared for after a loss. When asked about the potential success of their newest company, Loner stated, “The model that we have come up with allows for multiple entry points from the franchisee perspective and will allow us to grow the 1-800-Textiles brand nationwide.”
