Cotton Holdings, Inc., a leading infrastructure support services company with 25 years in the commercial restoration market, has acquired Advance Catastrophe Technologies, LLC. and Target Solutions, LLC., further expanding the strategic breadth of its commercial restoration capabilities.
ACT, a national disaster remediation and restoration service provider specializing in water mitigation, fire restoration, mold remediation and storm disaster response, has grown its client base to over 8,000 commercial properties serving the hospitality, senior living and student housing end markets. Founded in 2001 and headquartered in Wichita, Kan., ACT will retain its name and operate as a wholly-owned subsidiary of Cotton under the continued leadership of Christian Wiley, president and CEO of ACT, who will retain an ownership interest in the business. Financial terms of the private transaction were not disclosed.
“Partnering with Cotton creates an environment with incredible resources that will accelerate growth and opportunities for ACT,” stated Christian Wiley. “We are tremendously excited to partner with an industry leader that not only shares our passion for service and execution, but has been built with integrity and transparency.”
Target, a disaster restoration, commercial roofing, environmental decontamination and reconstruction services provider, has grown rapidly from a local construction contractor to a full-service disaster restoration company with a leading market position. Founded in 2006 and headquartered in Waco, Texas, Target will retain its name and operate as a wholly-owned subsidiary of Cotton under the continued leadership of Adam Meyer, president and CEO, who will retain an ownership interest in the business. Financial terms of the private transaction were not disclosed.
“Benefiting from the Cotton team’s knowledge and expertise and having their resources at our disposal is going to accelerate Target’s growth trajectory,'' stated Adam Meyer. “Much like Cotton, our crucial partners and people have been here every step of the way. It’s exciting to be able to augment our team and partner with a company that values operational excellence and service above all else, the same way that we do.”
Pete Bell, founder and CEO of Cotton, commented on the synergistic partnership between all three companies. “Christian Wiley and the ACT management team along with Adam Meyer and the Target management team have done an impressive job building two market-leading disaster remediation businesses and positioning their companies for future growth.
“We are confident that the comprehensive suite of disaster response services and customer relationships of both companies will benefit from the vast resources Cotton has to offer,” Bell added. “The value created will also bolster our own service lines and turnkey solutions in exciting new ways as we continue to expand our rapid response capabilities.”
The integration of ACT and Target into Cotton’s portfolio is part of the company’s global strategy, which aims to meet the increasing demand for commercial restoration services across North America and internationally. These partnerships will expand Cotton’s geographic reach and customer verticals as well as bolster ACT and Target’s existing disaster response, recovery, restoration and mitigation service capabilities.
