Drying guru Chuck Dewald, the developer of the E3 System of Evaporation, and Certified Bio-Forensic Restoration Specialist/Certified Forensic Operator Jeff Jones are partnering for a four-day, hands-on course focusing on strategies for performing forensic restoration related to biohazard cleanup titled the Microbial Warrior Experience.
Upon successful completion of this course, students will be awarded the Certified Forensic Operator designation.
The Dewald Academy of Drying will be hosting this unique training opportunity, in partnership with with Artemis Bio-Risk Training Academy (ABTA).
Forensic restoration is the comprehensive remediation of microenvironments (buildings and structures) that are contaminated or suspected to be contaminated with biohazard materials.
Forensic Restoration includes, but is not limited to, the situations involving known and unknown infectious diseases and biohazardous materials, such as:
- Crime and trauma scenes
- Unattended deaths
- Unsanitary dwellings and conditions
- Hoarding
- Bioterrorism
- Human and biological material
- Mass casualty events
The first class will be held Nov. 30 – Dec. 3 in Indianapolis.
