BluSky Restoration Contractors, a national property restoration company in the U.S., raised $18,000 for Foothills Gateway, Inc. in Northern Colorado through its annual Clays for Kids sporting clay fundraising tournament held Sept. 17, 2021.
Clays for Kids is one of the firm’s signature community service events and is held annually in several cities where BluSky operates. In the past seven years, the firm has raised over $350,000 benefiting several charities in Fort Collins, Colorado, and surrounding areas.
“We’re committed to making our communities better and we strongly believe in the work Foothills Gateway does,” said Kent Stemper, BluSky CEO. “To borrow their words, when you highlight the achievements of the human spirit, everyone succeeds.”
Funds Foothills Gateway receives from this event will help support services provided through its Children and Families programs which could include, for example, its Infant Support Team. The Infant Support Team provides responsive and skilled care to babies and families as soon as they leave the hospital’s Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU). Another program in need of community support is Foothills Gateway’s BrightStart program for children with developmental delays who do not qualify for the federal Part C Early Intervention program. The BrightStart program provides infants and toddlers with extra coaching and support to address each child’s individual development needs while also supporting the family.
“We thank BluSky Restoration for supporting Foothills Gateway,” said Erin Eulenfeld, Foothills Gateway CEO. “Their generosity and the generosity of event participants is truly appreciated and will help Foothills Gateway continue to provide much needed services and supports to the children and families we serve.”
