ATI Restoration (ATI), a national leader in restoration, environmental remediation and reconstruction services, has announced the acquisition of QFB Property Restoration (QFB), a regional restoration firm with one office in Florida. Financial terms of the transaction were not disclosed.
"It is with great pride I welcome the QFB team to the ATI family," said Jeff Moore, President of ATI." The communities of Florida can experience tremendous disruption after a hurricane or tropical storm. With their residential-focused business model, this team knows how to quickly begin rebuilding neighborhoods, one family at a time. I believe they will be an essential component of our expanding network."
Established in 1989, ATI is the nation's largest family-owned and operated disaster recovery services firm, operating 23 locations from coast to coast. Late last year, the company began the execution of its accelerated growth strategy, acquiring Mark 1 Restoration. QFB marks its second acquisition, and the company expects additional growth before the end of 2021.
A Florida native, John Burket founded QFB Property Restoration in 1992. The office, based in Orlando, predominantly specializes in reconstruction services for the residential sector. In comparison, ATI currently has two offices in Florida that focus on water, fire and smoke damage, asbestos abatement and mold remediation for commercial properties.
"I joined ATI because, as another family-centric company, it was the right cultural fit," said John Burket, founder of QFB. "It will allow for the continuation of the company I founded and the security of my employees well beyond the time I retire."
QFB will continue to operate under its name in Florida, and the management team will remain on staff in their current roles.
