SteamMaster’s five-person team attending the conference, including Gary Gilman, President, Matt Monica, Vice President, Raj Manickam, CEO, Harrison Ratzlaff, Colorado Crawl Space Manager, and Justin Lovelace, Lead Technician
“Our attendance at AARST International Radon Symposium and Trade Show underscores our dedication to helping our clients and customers understand the health hazards of Radon and Radon mitigation better in the communities we serve in,” said Gilman.
Radon is the number one cause of lung cancer among non-smokers, according to EPA estimates. Overall, radon is the second leading cause of lung cancer. Radon is responsible for about 21,000 lung cancer deaths every year. About 2,900 of these deaths occur among people who have never smoked.
“Radon is a health hazard with a simple mitigation solution. The Colorado Department of Public Health and Environment (CDPHE) has an extensive educational portal and resource on their website to understand, learn, test and mitigate Radon,” said Harrison Ratzlaff.
