Delta Disaster Services, a nationally recognized and award-winning franchise brand that provides restoration services to residential and commercial properties, has announced its strategic franchise growth plans to increase its presence across the United States by 50 units in 2019, as part of its larger goal of adding 300 units over the next several years.

The brand experienced explosive growth during the past nine months, more than tripling its presence to 39 locations nationwide. Since its March 2018 acquisition by Harris Research, Inc. (HRI), which also owns market-leading home services franchise brands Chem-Dryâ Carpet and Upholstery Cleaning and N-Hanceâ Wood Refinishing, Delta Disaster Services signed agreements with existing Chem-Dry franchisees that expanded the property restoration franchise into new markets in 13 states including Colorado, Utah, Missouri, Washington, Florida, New Jersey, Georgia, Oregon, Michigan, Indiana, Texas, Alabama and California.

“The growth and momentum behind Delta Disaster Services is unmatched in our industry today, and we’re well-positioned to expand into new markets across the United States this year,” said Delta Disaster Services Founder and President Michael Mastous. “Our franchise owners and customers both benefit from our insurance-friendly approach and proprietary project management software, which simplify communication for all stakeholders. Additionally, our franchise training regimen places our owners in the top one percent of all restoration companies nationwide for education, setting them up for success from day one, and our receivables systems help our franchisees receive payment up to 45 percent faster than the industry average.”

As Delta Disaster Services grows in 2019, it is awarding franchise opportunities to qualified entrepreneurs seeking to capitalize on the recession-resistant $60-billion restoration industry with a proven franchise model. Now offering protected territories in many prime markets around the country, the brand anticipates signing franchise agreements for 50 new locations in 2019, which will put it on track to scale to more than 300 units in the next five years.

Through parent company HRI, the Delta Disaster Services team and its franchisees benefit from the lessons learned in growing Chem-Dry and N-Hance into global, market-leading brands. Franchisees are supported with HRI’s investments and know-how across several functions, including research and development, marketing, and operations. In 2018, HRI sold more than 200 franchise agreements across its portfolio of brands, bringing its total number of franchise units to over 3,500 worldwide. Its proven ability to scale franchise concepts in the home services segment will continue to benefit Delta Disaster Services as it expands in 2019 and beyond.

In the near term, HRI and Delta Disaster Services are teaming up to build a new, world-class flood house training facility in Denver near the brand’s headquarters, allowing for a higher-grade, hands-on education experience exclusively for its owners and their employees. Notably, the Applied Structural Drying (ASD) flood house will be one of only 20 in the United States and the only facility of its kind in Colorado. The company expects the new facility to open for use in franchisee training by the middle of the year.

Delta Disaster Services provides a full-service property restoration solution to both residential and commercial clients. Its restoration services cover damage from flood and water, smoke and fire, mold and other environmental conditions, as well as reconstruction services. Its Denver-based company-owned operation, proprietary project management software, and industry-best training regimen give the brand a leg up on quality control and convenience and have made it a preferred provider with insurance carriers.
