Interstate Restoration has opened an office in Austin, Texas, designed to help the company provide the most rapid and efficient response to local victims of hurricanes, fire, flooding and other disasters.

Interstate Restoration is a national, emergency-restoration general contractor that specializes in repairing commercial property.

The 5,000 square-foot office in Austin will be home to about a dozen employees, including Austin resident Brandon Hobbs, whose 20 solid years of industry experience made him the clear choice to serve as the new site’s general manager.

“We began last year looking at Austin as a natural location for an Interstate Restoration office,” said Harley Jeanise, regional director for Interstate Restoration. “We’re excited about the potential that it represents for our company’s growth, and it is a strategic commitment to this part of Texas.”

When disaster strikes the area, Interstate will have resources readily available, with the local expertise to solve problems as quickly as possible, Jeanise said. Other remote restoration companies might “chase down” business in the Austin area, but Interstate Restoration’s office at 21221 Highway 71 positions the company to form trusted strategic partnerships with local businesses. The new location will essentially give Interstate Restoration a head-start on the recovery process on behalf of clients, helping them to prepare for the worst before it happens.

“Those kinds of relationships help business people minimize the amount of downtime in a crisis,” Jeanise said. “The sooner they can get back to business, the sooner they can resume pulling in revenues and avoid losing customers.”

Interstate Restoration is still looking for experienced sales people to work in the office. Anyone interested should go to www.interstaterestoration.com/contact-us
