Dwyer Group, Inc., one of the world’s largest franchising companies of home service brands, kicked off 2018 with the grand opening celebration of a new three-story, 18,000 square-foot building at 317 Bosque Blvd, adjacent to the company’s headquarters. The new building officially brings the entire Dwyer Group corporate team in Waco to one location, including the company’s executive offices, accounting and marketing departments and the ProTradeNet division.
With the addition of this $3.2 million construction project, managed by Built Wright Construction, the Dwyer Group campus has reached nearly 100,000 square feet of building space on more than 12 acres of land.
Dwyer Group held a ribbon-cutting ceremony on January 9th to celebrate the completion of the new building. Attendees included members of the Greater Waco Chamber of Commerce including president Matt Meador, and Dwyer Group executives Mike Bidwell, president and CEO; Dina Dwyer-Owens, Co-chair; Mary Kennedy Thompson, COO; Lisa Zoellner, chief strategy and marketing officer; and more.
The expanded Waco campus for Dwyer Group follows a record year of growth for the organization in 2017. Dwyer Group acquired two new brands, Bright & Beautiful and Countrywide Grounds Maintenance. The acquisitions, along with strong growth of existing service brands, expanded the overall Dwyer Group roster to 17 franchise service brands and more than 2,800 franchise locations in nine countries around the world. Today, Dwyer Group’s service brands account for more than $1.5 billion in annual system-wide sales and 700+ employees across North America, the U.K. and Germany.
Also in 2017, Dwyer Group launched its comprehensive home services platform, Neighborly. The platform brings together Dwyer Group’s community of service professionals and gives homeowners easy access to a network of experts at GetNeighborly.com – including landscaping, plumbing, painting, housecleaning and more.
“We had an historic year of achievements in 2017 and this new building is a great way to launch into the New Year,” said Mike Bidwell, president and CEO of Dwyer Group. “It is important that we enhance and refresh our campus as our team grows. The expansion of our world headquarters exemplifies our dedication to growth and continuous improvement.”
