Jarrod Sims is moving up the ladder at Steamatic, from director of franchise development, to general manager of Steamatic of Dallas-Fort Worth. Before this promotion, Sims spent eight years seeking out prospective Steamatic franchise owners. Previously, Sims held sales and development positions at Buxton Company in Fort Worth and Texas Valve & Fitting Company (Swagelok) in Dallas, Texas.
In his new role as general manager, Sims will further expand Steamatic's reputation for high quality restoration and cleaning services in the Dallas-Fort Worth Metroplex and Westoplex (Aledo/Weatherford). He has more than nine years of experience in the cleaning, restoration and the Indoor Air Quality (IAQ) industries, with extensive knowledge of sales and operations. Sims’ industry certifications include National Air Duct Cleaning Association’s Air System Cleaning Specialist, as well as certifications in carpet, fire, smoke and water restoration from the Institute of Inspection, Cleaning and Restoration Certification.
Sims is a native of the Fort Worth area, and holds both Bachelors and Masters degrees in business administration from the Neeley School of Business at Texas Christian University.
“I think it’s an exciting time to move a veteran corporate employee into a leadership role within the corporate franchise. Jarrod will increase the service level at Steamatic of Dallas-Fort Worth and provide a supportive role in assisting with new franchise training,” says Steve Willis, President of Steamatic, Inc.
