On April 10, Paul Davis franchise office owners and associates from across the country took part in a teambuilding experience to help students associated with Friendship Collegiate Academy Public Charter School in Washington DC, according to a press release. Paul Davis franchisees donated 20 bicycles and helmets to help students with recreation and local transportation, an event which took place during the company’s annual convention at the Gaylord National Resort and Convention Center near Washington, D.C.
Convention participants took time out of their busy day of meetings and workshops to come together and build bikes for the local kids in the community. At the end of the day, participants received a great surprise with children from the local school who received their bikes in person.
Sean Gough, the School's Director of Corporate and Community Affairs, thanked the Paul Davis teams in person for their time and donation. Gough stated, "This event truly exemplified everyone's willingness to take time out of their busy schedules to give back to the community. Each member of the Paul Davis organization was warm and friendly and made our children feel extraordinary!"
According to Tim Robinson, CEO of Paul Davis Restoration Inc., the company continues its culture of giving back to communities where local office owners and staff members live and work. "We enjoyed meeting the talented students and providing each one of them with a gift as a token of our thanks for their hard work in school," said Robinson. "Our offices operate in an environment of teamwork, so this activity supports what we do every day in people's homes and businesses.”
