Paul Davis National has mobilized to the Northeast to provide much needed structural clean-up and drying services for residential and commercial properties in the wake of "Superstorm" Sandy, the company announced in a press release.

The company is already working on more than a dozen multifamily building complexes in Rockaway Beach, NY. Once local authorities began allowing recovery personnel to safely enter the neighborhood on Shorefront Parkway in Rockaway Beach on October 29, a large contingent of Paul Davis crew members started work in the area along with locally-hired tradesmen and other workers. The company is also moving equipment and personnel to other affected areas in New York and New Jersey as these areas are cleared for access.

According to Howland "Howdy" Russell, Paul Davis National's spokesman, the company has responded to emergency calls from property managers in New York and New Jersey along with more than 50 local Paul Davis offices from across the country that are also working on emergency service jobs on the East Coast.

"It's quite a challenge as the buildings are filled with sand, mud and debris,” says Russell. “A key priority is to contain and control any microbial growth right away - ensuring a healthy and safe environment for the property owners and families.”

Paul Davis National plans to continue its large loss work in the northeast for the next several months. The Paul Davis organization also urges the general public to do what they can in supporting the American Red Cross, first responders and local food banks in helping those affected recover from this devastating storm.
