The Indoor Air Quality Association (IAQA) Board of Director held its annual election of officers for 2012-2013 at its meeting in Westford, Massachusetts on August 2, according to a press release. Four IAQA Directors elected from slate issued by the Nominating Committee were also installed in Westford.
Donald M. Weekes, CIH, of INAIR Environmental, Ltd., Ontario, Canada, was elected IAQA President. Derrick Denis, CIEC, CIAQP, of Clark Seif Clark, Inc., Tempe, AZ, was elected IAQA First Vice President. Elected to the two IAQA Vice President offices were Daniel Greenblatt, ASCS, CMR, CMH, of Envirotech Clean Air, Inc., Stoneham, MA, and Kent Rawhouser, WLS, CMRS, of A&J Specialty Services, Inc., DeForest, WI. Wei Tang, Ph.D., of QLab in Cherry Hill, NJ, was elected IAQA Treasurer.
One new IAQA Director, Cole Stanton of Fiberlock Technologies, Inc., Andover, MA was elected to a three-year term. Additionally, three members were re-elected as Director for three year terms: Donald Herrmann, CIEC, of DC Herrmann & Associates, Tampa, FL; Michael A. Pinto, CSP, CMP, of Wonder Makers Environmental, Inc., Kalamazoo, MI; and, Donald Weekes.
Other members of the IAQA Board of Directors include Elliott Horner, Ph.D., of UL AQS, Marietta, GA; Larry D. Robertson, M.S., B.S., CIEC, CMRS, CIAQP, of Robertson Environmental Consulting Group, LLC, Jewett, TX; and, IAQA’s Immediate Past President, Carl Grimes, CIEC, of Healthy Habitats LLC in Denver, CO.
