Grand Island, NE – June 23, 2009 – Nick Suminski, Paul Davis Restoration and Remodeling of Grand Island office owner, announced today that his office will co-host a charity golf event with Auto Glass Center in Grand Island to benefit the American Red Cross, Central Nebraska Chapter.
The event will be held on Friday, July 24 at 10 a.m., Indianhead Golf Club, 4100 W. Husker Hwy. in Grand Island with a shot gun start and two person scramble.
“We are looking forward to co-hosting this great charity event. It’s a great way to have some fun for an important cause like the American Red Cross,” said Suminski.
According to Suminski, during late spring and summer there is a higher request for blood donations due to families on vacation and children getting out of school along with increased travel and potential accidents. “Our goal is to help the non-profit with their work to make a significant difference in the blood bank totals in the region along with the organization’s numerous programs to help victims of disaster,” said Suminski.
The event is being held primarily for insurance industry professionals including agents, adjusters and their staff. “If someone isn’t a golfer, but would like to help out the Red Cross they can still send in a donation, made payable to the American Red Cross and forwarded to the Paul Davis or Auto Glass Center offices.”
