An 18-wheeler containing 122 boxes of frozen files retrieved from the burnt remains of the Chatham County Courthouse pulled into a facility in Fort Worth, Texas, in an effort to save them.
Last week,workers from Belfor USA, a company that specializes in disaster restoration, worked with members of the Chatham County District Attorney’s Office and the Sheriff’s Office to remove the files that were on the first floor of the courthouse that were nearly gutted by a fire on March 25.
