Evans Garment Restoration, LLC announces that it is now servicing the central Tennessee market from Chattanooga to the Nashville metro area. Evans specializes exclusively in the restoration of textiles, clothing and soft goods (shoes, belts and purses) damaged by soot, smoke, water, wind and mold.

The central Tennessee market is being served by regional Account Manager Gaylon Jones who will be working with insurance adjusters and restoration contractors to meet their garment restoration challenges.

“Many people don’t realize that one of the biggest tasks of recovering from a fire, flood or other disaster is removing the soils and odors from clothing afterwards”, says Jones. “And it’s not just clothing but shoes, belts, purses, drapes and window treatments, linens and bedding, leather goods and other textiles.”

Replacement of clothing can quickly exhaust policy limits and many clothes are unavailable out of season. This means that it can take six months to a year to replace an entire wardrobe.

“Our facilities exclusively process restoration cleaning only and do not blend it with retail dry cleaning”, says Jones. “Our focus is 100% on insurance work either directly for the insurer or for the restoration contractor. This has allowed us to design our plants solely and specifically to achieve the very highest levels of quality and service in the garment restoration industry.”
