Coraopolis, Pennsylvania. March 24, 2008. Dri-Eaz Products and Unsmoke-Microban Systems have teamed up to help sponsor IAQ Radio's 75th episode on March 28.
IAQ Radio, "The Voice of the Indoor Air Quality Industry," was originally launched in August 2006; the 75th show will feature Martin L. King, CR/ASA. King is technical adviser to the Restoration Industry Association and internationally recognized as an expert on disaster restoration and damage repair issues.
IAQ Radio is produced by the IAQ Training Institute, LLC. Each week the hosts interview industry notables to help promote education and communication for industry professionals and consumers in need of assistance with IAQ, built environment and disaster restoration issues. The show is broadcast live every Friday at noon eastern time, and participation is free. Listeners who log in to the live show can post comments and speak to presenters using their phone. The show is approved for continuing education credits by the American Indoor Air Quality Council.
IAQ Radio also operates a website (www.iaqradio.com), which offers archived recordings of the show 24 hours a day, along with blogs, links and information related to indoor air quality and disaster restoration. The site also has a section of trivia questions based on the content of the shows. Prizes are offered to participants who correctly answer the questions.
Joe Hughes, president of IAQ Training Institute, and Cliff Zlotnik, founder and president emeritus of Unsmoke-Microban host the shows. Zlotnik and Hughes are approved instructors for IAQ and disaster restoration courses and are active participants in industry associations and industry affairs.
Each week Hughes and Zlotnik interview guests from the indoor air quality, building sciences and the disaster restoration industries. The show’s Technical Director, Dr. Dietrich Weyel adds his insight and Chris Boissell, aka "The Wingman," is at the controls helping with musical introductions, sound bites and other production assistance.
