North Canton, Ohio - Violand Management Associates (VMA), in association with The Corporate University at the Kent State University Stark Campus, is pleased to offer a diploma in Restoration Project Management, designed specifically for project managers, estimators, project coordinators and owner/operators of disaster restoration companies.
The program contains 84 hours of training in 10 weeks. One week of classroom instruction at Kent State University - Stark Campus, followed by eight weekly one-hour webinars. The program then concludes with a final week of classroom instruction, followed by a 200-question open-book examination. Those obtaining the minimum required score will graduate and receive a diploma.

"Our program unites authorities from the academic world with some of the most trusted names in the restoration industry to take project management from principle to application. Our goal is for graduates to understand and display a higher standard of performance in the industry, letting them finish more projects on-time and under budget, while raising the level of customer satisfaction."
Topics covered in the course include supervisory skills and time management, damage assessment, estimating, customer service, legal issues, understanding insurance policies, and handling cash flow, among others.
The Restoration Project Management Program is scheduled to begin on January 10th at the Kent State University Stark Campus in North Canton.
