The Indoor Air Quality Association’s 10th Annual Meeting & Exposition, “Exploring the Interdisciplinary IAQ Industry,” at The Rio All-Suite Hotel & Casino in Las Vegas, Oct. 14-17, came out firing on all cylinders.
The theme for this year’s event was selected to reflect the cross-disciplinary nature of the industry, and how different segments impact each other when professionals try to accomplish their mutual goals. For example, the professional operating in IAQ investigation may be able to work more effectively and efficiently when he or she has a better understanding of various remediation, engineering and/or facility maintenance practices.
Attendees strolling the exhibition floor took in the more than 120 booths with companies like Bio-reveal; Delmhorst Instrument Co.; Foster Products; Fiberlock Technologies; GE Sensing; the IICRC; Siamons International and Zinsser Co. demonstrating the latest technology and innovations the industry has to offer. Events of this scale often provide a sneak peek at some of the new equipment soon to be making its way to the market, and the manufacturers in the RIO Conference Center did not disappoint (though we had to promise we wouldn’t show them just yet).
